Meet the Workshop Leader: Rasfan Haval
The workshop is led by Rasfan Haval, an actor originally from the UK who is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Rasfan is the founder and head organiser of Clay Theatre, a performance space, located in central Ljubljana.
He has a strong background in both performance and group facilitation. He holds a First-Class Honours Degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Chester and trained in acting at Identity School of Acting in London.
Rasfan has experience working with young people through his time with the Almeida Theatre, where he toured as part of an outreach team delivering acting workshops in schools. His approach to teaching is shaped not only by his training in performance but also by his interest in personal development and well-being.
He holds a certificate in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London, which informs his ability to create a thoughtful, inclusive, and emotionally aware learning environment. His workshops aim to encourage confidence, self-expression, and creativity in a space where every child feels supported and free to explore.
